Virus Solution Provider started in a small office in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi in 2007. Sundeep Maan, a hardware engineer with 10 years of field experience, saw Indian businesses losing crores of rupees to ransomware and hard drive failures with no local lab to turn to. He built VSP from scratch, buying India's first PC-3000 UDMA tool and training a team of engineers who now handle 200+ ransomware variants, every HDD brand, every SSD form factor, and every RAID configuration used in Indian offices.

From a Small Delhi Office to India's Recovery Lab
In 2007, Sundeep Maan was working as a freelance hardware engineer in West Delhi. Clients kept bringing him dead hard drives and ransomware-encrypted laptops, but there was no professional data recovery lab in India that could handle complex cases like head crashes, firmware corruption, or encrypted RAID arrays. The only option was to ship drives to labs in the US or UK, costing lakhs of rupees and weeks of waiting.
Sundeep invested his savings into buying a PC-3000 UDMA, India's first professional data recovery tool at the consumer level. He converted a room in his Paschim Vihar home into a small cleanroom and started recovering data for local businesses. Word spread fast. Within two years, VSP was handling cases from Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
By 2012, VSP had grown into a full-scale lab with a team of 5 engineers, multiple PC-3000 units, a Class 100 cleanroom, and partnerships with Indian law enforcement agencies. When ransomware attacks exploded across India in 2016, VSP was already prepared. We had been decrypting ransomware variants since 2009, building offline key databases and reverse-engineering encryption methods that no other Indian lab had attempted.
Today, VSP operates from a 2,000 sq ft facility in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. Our team of 12 engineers handles everything from a college student's formatted SD card to a multinational corporation's encrypted server cluster. We serve customers in every Indian state, with courier-based pickup and delivery for cities outside Delhi NCR.

19 Years of Hands-On Recovery Experience
Sundeep Maan has been recovering data since 2005. He started as a hardware repair technician in West Delhi, fixing motherboards and power supplies for local computer shops. When clients started asking about data recovery, he taught himself using damaged drives and online forums, eventually investing in professional tools.
Over 19 years, Sundeep has personally handled over 5,000 recovery cases. He has decrypted ransomware for Indian banks, recovered databases for pharmaceutical companies, rebuilt RAID arrays for IT firms, and restored wedding photos for families who lost everything to a hard drive crash. He still works on complex cases himself, especially ransomware decryption and cleanroom operations.
Sundeep holds certifications in data recovery from ACE Lab (PC-3000 manufacturer) and has trained 12 engineers who now work at VSP. He is a member of the Data Recovery Professionals Association and regularly consults with Indian law enforcement on cybercrime cases involving ransomware.
